Kremlin has rejected issue of exchanging Medvedchuk for Ukrainian military prisoners
Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman of Russian president, said that Moscow was not negotiating to exchange of detained leader of opposition party for life Viktor Medvedchuk for Ukrainian military prisoners.

According to Peskov, issue of exchanging Medvedchuk for Ukrainian military prisoners doesn’t arise during Russia's talks with Ukraine.
"No, that's not the point," Peskov said.
Viktor Medvedchuk was declared suspected of treason, facilitating activities of terrorist organizations and attempting to steal national resources. He escaped from house arrest after Russian invasion to Ukraine began.
