"Despite the fact that Belarus's dependence on Russia has increased dramatically in the economic, political and military sense, the Kremlin apparently fears that Lukashenko may somehow return to his multi-vector policy at a convenient moment," Alesin said.
According to the expert, Russia is trying to fully control Lukashenko and Belarus.
"Ambassadors of a number of neutral states are in Minsk to study the circumstances in order to try to show Lukashenko the possibility of returning to the previous relations. And this is not what Russia wants at all, it wants to take full control of Belarus," Alesin added.

The Center of National Resistance reported that self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko suspected the special services of possible treason
