Ukrainian forces repel Russian assault north of Kharkiv, kill 70 soldiers

The Khartia press service reported the information.

Throughout the week, the Russian army attempted to conduct assaults in the area of responsibility of the 13th National Guard Brigade "Khartia" north of Kharkiv in the Lypetsk direction. Khartia forces successfully repelled them.

"Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Khartia personnel—infantry, drone operators, artillery crews, and other units—the attempt was unsuccessful. We continue to hold the defense of the Kharkiv region, we continue to keep Kharkiv locked down," the military emphasized.

• On January 12, reconnaissance and strike group personnel from the 4th Battalion of the Khartia Brigade established control over the Kupiansk city council building.
