Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated this on Telegram.

“Every day, the invaders suffer devastating losses. Since the beginning of the year alone, the losses of the Russian army in manpower have amounted to about 91,000 personnel,” he wrote.

Syrskyi thanked the Defense Forces for effectively destroying the enemy.

“I thank the Ukrainian warriors for their resilience, effectiveness in combat operations, and unwavering belief in our victory!” the commander-in-chief added.

  • According to British intelligence, as reported on March 5, Russia’s losses in the war against Ukraine since the beginning of 2025 amount to about 90,000 military personnel killed and wounded. In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the losses are approximately 875,000. Intelligence analysts believe that the number of losses will decrease due to the slowing pace of Russian offensive operations.
  • According to the General Staff, as reported on the morning of March 6, over the past day, the Defense Forces neutralized 1,140 Russian servicemen, at least five enemy tanks, and 80 drones.
