Russia loses 1,140 soldiers, 47 artillery systems in one day of war in Ukraine

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on August 26.

Russia's total combat losses from 24.02.2022 to 26.08.2024 are estimated to be:

• personnel - about 60,8820 (+1,140)

• tanks - 8,551 (+4) 

• armored fighting vehicles - 16,648 (+17) 

• artillery systems - 17,443 (+47)

• MLRS - 1,172 (+1) 

• air defense systems - 937 (+1)

• aircraft - 367 (+0) 

• helicopters - 328 (+0) 

• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 14,134 (+39)

• cruise missiles - 2,444 (+0)

• ships/boats - 28 (+0) 

• submarines - 1 (+0) 

• vehicles and fuel tanks - 23,555 (+80)

• special equipment -  2,941 (+13)

On August 26, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
