Russia loses 1,080 soldiers, 41 artillery systems, 49 UAVs in one day of war in Ukraine

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to October 10, 2024, are approximately:

• personnel - about 665,200 (+1,080)
• tanks - 8,945 (+1) 
• armored fighting vehicles - 17,765 (+14) 
• artillery systems - 19,263 (+41) 
• MLRS - 1,225 (+2) 
• air defense systems - 976 (+3) 
• aircraft - 369 (+0) 
• helicopters - 328 (+0) 
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 16,767 (+49)
• cruise missiles - 2,619 (+1)
• ships/boats - 28 (+0) 
• submarines - 1 (+0) 
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 26,314 (+74) 
• special equipment - 3,386 (+1).

The General Staff added that the data is being updated.

• On Wednesday, October 9, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully hit a Shahed drone storage base in the Krasnodar Territory, Russia.
