Russia denies talks of recognizing Crimea, occupied territories as Russian in Trump-Putin call
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported the information on June 11.
According to him, in May alone, the Russian military fired over 26,000 shells at the Kherson region. These attacks leave behind a huge amount of construction debris.
Prokudin explained that a new recycling plant project was introduced at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin.
"The Russian army continues to attack our region daily, leaving behind mountains of construction waste. We can put this waste to good use, but we need a processing plant. The Kherson region will present this project at the conference in Berlin," he said.
