Kherson remains without electricity, water and heating - local official
Serhiy Khlan, a deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, noted that the regional power company plans to restore the first line of electricity supply coming from the Mykolaiv region in 7-10 days
He told about this on the air of Espreso TV channel.
"The situation is difficult, there has been no electricity in the city since November 6, as well as in the entire Kherson region. Without power, there is no water supply, drainage or heating. There are several tents of the State Emergency Service where you can warm up and connect to wi-fi via Starlink and charge your mobile and electronic devices. In some areas, mobile communication is returning," the deputy of the Kherson Regional Council said.
Serhiy Khlan noted that the regional power company will be able to restore within 7-10 days the first line that goes from the Mykolaiv region. It will partially provide Kherson with electricity. Of course, this will not be enough for total capacity, but it will be possible to start the water supply.
"There are many issues, including humanitarian ones, but they are gradually being resolved. Now the whole country is helping the city and the Red Cross and the UN have also sent ample humanitarian supplies to Kherson. The situation will level out as long as the invaders do not continue shelling," Khlan said.
