Russian army subjects Kharkiv region to artillery fire from Uragan MLRS, wounding two locals
Over the weekend, the Russian army shelled Kupiansk and Izium districts with Uragan MLRS, injuring two civilians
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
On June 9, at about 00:25, the Russian military fired on the village of Borova, Izium district. Private households were damaged. An 82-year-old man was wounded. Preliminary information says that the Russian military attacked the settlement with Uragan MLRS.
On the evening of June 8, the Russian army shelled the village of Dvorichna in Kupyansk district with artillery. A 55-year-old woman was hospitalized with multiple injuries.
Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian Armed Forces.
Under the procedural guidance of the Izium and Kupiansk District Prosecutor's Offices in Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been launched.
