Kharkiv official tells whether Russia's second offensive on city is possible

No concentration of Russian military units capable of attacking Kharkiv near the border with Ukraine has been recorded so far

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, stated this.

According to him, the Russian Federation is conducting unprecedented massive attacks on settlements near the border. Over the past two days, dozens of S-300 missiles have been launched there. There have been hits to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

"In order to talk about any offensive or plans of the Russian army, it must concentrate its military units in one direction or another. Currently, there is no such concentration. However, the situation can change every minute, and we are, of course, carefully monitoring it," Syniehubov said.

He expressed doubt that Russia has abandoned its intention to occupy Kharkiv.

"We understand that the enemy has not abandoned its intentions to recapture the territories it lost in the fall of 2022, as well as the city of Kharkiv. We must always be ready," the official summarized.
