Kharkiv declares August 19 day of mourning for people killed by Russian rocket attacks

Kharkiv announced August 19 a day of mourning for people killed in the war

Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov informs about this on Telegram.

"Today is a day of mourning in Kharkiv. I think it would be right today to remember all those whose lives were taken by the war, all those who died within the walls of their homes, on the streets of their hometown, on the battlefield," Terekhov wrote.

The mayor of Kharkiv emphasized that August 17 and the morning of August 18 became one of the most difficult for the city since the beginning of the full-scale war: "People died, many were injured, including children."

"Having paid a terrible price, we will become stronger, and enemy missiles will become a pile of rust that will eat away their creators," the mayor added.
