Kadyrov should take revenge on Moscow and Putin personally, and not threaten Ukraine — Danilov

The National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov responded to Ramzan Kadyrov's threats due to the drone attack on Moscow, and noted that the head of Chechnya should take revenge not on Ukraine, but on Putin

Danilov stated this on Twitter.

Danilov emphasized that it was the Russians, not Ukrainians, who were responsible for killing Chechens, devastating Grozny, and instigating the Russian-Chechen war.

“Kadyrov should seek revenge on Moscow and Putin personally. It was the Russians who inflicted violence and destruction upon the Chechen people. Centuries of slavery, the brutal murder and torture of women and children, the obliteration of cities, and the desecration of ancestral graves were all perpetrated by the Russians. It was not Ukrainians who used tanks to destroy Grozny and its civilians, it was Russian tanks. The Chechen people remember these atrocities, and it is time for those who have forgotten to recall them,” he wrote.

As a point of reference, on May 30, Ramzan Kadyrov, the Kremlin-controlled leader of Chechnya, published a post accusing Ukrainians of being "terrorists and Nazis" and blaming Ukraine for drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Moscow. He also called on Europe to reconsider its support and weapon provisions, warning that Russia would respond if provoked. Kadyrov vowed to retaliate against Ukraine for the alleged attack.
