Journalist Vira Gyrych killed in Russian forces’ shelling of Kyiv 

Her death was confirmed by colleagues at Radio Liberty.

Radio Liberty reported that producer Vira Gyrych died when a Russian missile hit her home. Her dead body was found under the rubble in the morning of April 29.

Vira took her position with Radio Liberty’s Kyiv bureau on February 1, 2018. Before then, she had worked with numerous leading Ukrainian TV channels.
