Wagner boss Prigozhin dies in plane crash, Russian authorities say
An Embraer business jet belonging to Yevgeny Prigozhin crashed in the Tver region of Russia, killing 10 people on board. Wagner's PMC financier was among the passengers

The Belarusian monitoring group Belarusian Hajun writes that Yevgeny Prigozhin's Embraer Legacy 600 business jet, registration RA-02795, was flying in Tver at 6:00 pm.
At 6:11 pm, the aircraft disappeared from the radar of the public aircraft tracking service.
Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry notes that there were 10 people on board, including 3 crew members. According to preliminary information, all those on board were killed.
The propaganda outlet TASS reports that, according to Rosaviatsia, Yevgeny Prigozhin was among the passengers on the plane.
According to the Cheka-OGPU Telegram channel, Prigozhin's right-hand man, PMC commander Dmitry Utkin, with the call sign "Wagner", was also on board.
The BAZA Telegram channel notes that, according to eyewitnesses, the plane exploded in midair. According to one version, the explosion was caused by a terrorist attack.
On Monday, August 21, Yevgeny Prygozhin recorded a video message in which he stated that he was currently with the Wagner soldiers in Africa.
