Japan imposes sanctions against 80 Russians and 9 Russian organizations
Japanese government expands sanctions against Russia. This time, 81 Russians and 9 organizations are under it. In particular, their assets will be frozen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan published a sanctions list on its website.
The authorized representative in the North Caucasus Federal District Yuriy Chaika, relatives of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov, Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu, Director of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, Prime Minister Mykhailo Mishustin, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev came under restrictions.
In addition, the list includes Russian gymnast Alina Kabaeva, propagandist and editor-in-chief of the RT TV channel Margarita Simonyan and General of the Russian Armed Forces Yuriy Grekhov.
Japan also introduced restrictions against the Rusych organization, the Rostec corporation, the Kalashnikov concern, and Suzirya, as well as against collaborators who support Russian armed aggression.
"In total, 81 individuals and nine organizations will be added to the list of individuals to be frozen. Among them are pro-Russian separatists in eastern and southern Ukraine who are believed to be directly responsible for the unilateral annexation. Also high-ranking government officials and military organizations are included" - NHK emphasized.
