Thus, during the conversation, the Prime Ministers of Japan and Great Britain agreed to strengthen support for Ukraine amid the full-scale Russian invasion. They also agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation due to the increasing military activities by China and North Korea.
In addition, Kishida and Sunak confirmed that they will accelerate negotiations to conclude an agreement as soon as possible that will enhance interoperability and cooperation between their armed forces. The signing of an agreement on joint development of a fighter jet will also be accelerated.
