ISW reports Ukrainian Armed Forces advancing near Bakhmut
During the week, Ukrainian soldiers advanced near Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and continued positional combat operations with Russian troops
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported the information.
"Geolocated footage published on December 20 indicates that Ukrainian forces marginally advanced southeast of Klishchiivka (southwest of Bakhmut)," the statement said.
Instead, Russian propagandists claim that Russian troops have advanced north and east of Bohdanivka and toward Ivanivske.
Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Fito, spokesman for the Ukrainian Army Command, said that the intensity of fighting near Bakhmut has decreased, but Russian troops continue to try to capture Bohdanivka, advance to Chasiv Yar and regain lost positions near Klishchiivka and Andriivka.
