ISW confirms Ukrainian forces advance near Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region
In the course of Ukraine’s counteroffensive, Ukrainian troops advance in Zaporizhzhia region near the village of Verbove
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported the information.
American analysts have stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carry out counter-offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction and in the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region, making gains there.
"Geolocated footage shows that Ukrainian forces have advanced along the trench line west of Verbove (about 20km southeast of Orikhiv)," the ISW stated.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces highlighted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had advanced in the Robotyne-Novoprokopivka area, situated to the south of Orikhiv. Furthermore, it was reported that Ukrainian troops were maintaining successful offensives in the southern regions of Bakhmut.
