February 16, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen arrives in Kyiv, becoming the first official from this country to visit Ukraine after Russia's full-scale invasion.

Cohen posted a photo from the capital's train station on Twitter.

According to the minister, he will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, and visit Babyn Yar and Bucha.

"I have just arrived in Kyiv for the first visit of an Israeli minister to Ukraine since the beginning of the war. I will meet with President Zelenskyy and Foreign Minister Kuleba, open the Israeli Embassy in Kyiv, which will return to continuous and full functioning, and visit Bucha and Babyn Yar. I have come to say that Israel stands with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in this difficult time," Cohen wrote.
