Israel cancels electronic entry permits for Ukrainians
Citizens of Ukraine and those who invite them to Israel no longer need to obtain electronic entry permits from the Israeli Ministry of Internal Affairs
Ukraine's State Border Service has shared an update on the situation, citing a statement by the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel.
The statement notes that applies to those planning tourist trips to Israel.
In addition, a citizen of Ukraine entering Israel without a visa should be prepared to convincingly and with the help of relevant documents justify the purpose of his trip at the airport. It is noted that the authority to make the final decision regarding admission to the territory of the country belongs to the employee of the border service of Israel.
For example, tourists are advised to have a return ticket, confirmation of hotel reservation and purchase of a travel product, an amount of funds sufficient for the planned stay in Israel, as well as a health insurance policy.
Persons entering for visiting purposes or for treatment should have a named invitation with the personal and contact details of the party/hospital receiving the person. It is also necessary to have a return ticket and a sufficient amount of funds.
Israel emphasizes that the country does not accept refugees from Ukraine.
It is also reported that all Ukrainians who were legally in Israel as of February 24, 2022, as well as those who entered the country later, have their visas automatically extended until July 30, 2022.
