Iran’s military delegation arrives in Moscow to discuss cooperation
On August 21, an Iranian military delegation headed by Army Commander Kioumars Heydari arrived in Moscow to discuss cooperation with Russia

The Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian Army Commander Oleg Salyukov had agreed with Heydari to increase "bilateral cooperation" between the ground forces.
"Russia views Iran as one of its key partners in the Middle East. It is a strategic partner of the Russian Federation. Constant intensive political dialogue is the mainstay of our current cooperation," he said.

The Washington Post reported that Russia, in cooperation with Iran, plans to produce 6,000 Shahed drones by 2025.
