Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs threatens Ukraine with consequences due to accusations of supplying Russia with drones
Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs threatened Ukraine with legal consequences for accusing Tehran of supplying the Russian Federation with drones.
IRNA reports.
"We consider threatening speech by any party irresponsible, and the Ukrainian government bears responsibility for political and legal consequences of these threatening statements," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said.
He reiterated that Iran rejects accusations of supplying Russia with drones during the full-scale war against Ukraine.
"Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has repeatedly stated its position on this matter, high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic have also stated a principled position. We emphasize that blaming other countries will not help the people and authorities of Ukraine," Kanaani said.
He added that "Iran is not a part of the war in Ukraine, and is ready to help resolve the crisis and establish peace."
