Iranian drones parts manufactured after Russia’s full-scale invasion
Ukrainian intelligence agents found evidence that Iranian drones were supplied to Russia after February 24 and shared data with partner countries.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Personnel of the military intelligence of Ukraine has found information that proves that Iranian drones were supplied to Russia after February 24.
In particular, as the agents established, the propeller blade of the Mohajer-6 drone was manufactured only in February of 2022. And delivering it to the Russian Federation also takes some time. In fact, the Iranian Mohajer is assembled from parts produced in different countries. Most of the component parts are from the USA. Also, the drone has an Austrian engine and a Japanese camera.
"We did not find any Russian component parts here," the intelligence agency emphasizes. "One spare part also has an inscription in Farsi (modern Persian, which has the status of official in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan). The thermal-imaging camera is made in Japan. The laser rangefinder is made in China. An aerial bomb is made in Iran."
Now Ukrainian experts are studying how exactly foreign component parts ended up in Iranian drones. Serial numbers and data on manufacturers of parts have already been shared to partner countries by the employees of the directorate.
