Invading Russian soldiers don’t let out about 10,000-15,000 locals from Enerhodar
About 15,000 residents of Russian-occupied town of Enerhodar, in Zaporizhzhia region, are unable to leave as Russian troops block exits
This is reported by the Center of National Resistance.
"The occupying Russian troops are keeping the residents of Enerhodar in the town in order to use them as human shields," the statement reads.
It is noted that the Russian invaders do not let anyone out. According to the local authorities, about 10,000-15,000 civilians, out of 53,000 of the pre-war population, are living under occupation and are currently blocked in the town.
The occupying Russian soldiers are aware that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin active actions to liberate the town if the number of civilians decreases. That is why they hide behind people and place military equipment among residential buildings.
