Invading Russian forces try to control Pisky, but retreat with losses - General Staff

Avdiivka direction

The Russian enemy used barrel artillery and multiple rocket systems for shelling in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Oleksandropil, Opytne, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnohorivka, and Nevelske. 

The areas of Marinka, Oleksandropil, and Vodiane settlements were hit by airstrikes.

"Once again, the Russian occupiers tried to establish control over the settlements of Pisky and Nevelske by offensive and assault actions. They did not succeed. They traditionally suffered losses and left", the Ukrainian Armed Forces said.

Novopavlivka direction

Russian aircraft strikes were recorded near Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, and Novomayorske. Ukraine's Armed Forces repelled the Russian offensive in the direction of the settlements of Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Pavlivka, and Velyka Novosilka.

Zaporizhzhia direction

"The enemy shelled the areas of Novopillya, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhiv, and fifteen more settlements with barrel and rocket artillery. The territories near Novosilka, Poltavka, and Dorozhnianka were hit by the Russian aircraft", the Ukrainian Armed Forces wrote.
