Invading Russian forces set up five torture chambers for civilians in Melitopol - mayor
Invading Russian forces have equipped five torture chambers in occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, where locals are being tortured with electricity
The legitimate mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said this on the Freedom TV channel.
“Today there are at least five torture chambers in the city. What are five torture chambers? These are only those places that are located, for example, in the seized district police station, the seized military registration and enlistment office, and a military unit. In these torture chambers, when Russians take our people prisoner, they definitely commit outrages. There are already confirmed facts that they use electricity and shoot at limbs as torture. And that is why today we call our city the largest prison in Europe,” Fedorov said.
According to him, there are about 50,000-60,000 civilians left in occupied Melitopol. He urged people to leave the occupation if possible, so as not to endanger themselves.
