Suspilne reported this with reference to the mayor of Nova Kakhovka, Volodymyr Kovalenko.
"Residents of Nova Kakhovka, those who have Russian SIM cards, received a message from the occupation authorities about evacuation from workplaces. There was also an announcement in local chat rooms about the need to take shelter in basements in case of danger", it is noted.
As of 4:02 p.m., an air raid alert is sounding and explosions are heard in Nova Kakhovka.
