Invaders fired phosphorus shells at Severodonetsk and Girske. 36 settlements in Luhansk region are without electricity now - Gaidai
In Severodonetsk and Girske, local communications were destroyed by Russian shelling - residents are without electricity, water and gas
This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Sergiy Gaidai.
As it became known, on the night of April 12, the invaders fired at the outskirts of Severodonetsk and Girske. Also, Russians used phosphorus shells against civilian quarters.
"Almost all communications have been destroyed. People are sitting without electricity, water and gas. Repairmen are examining accident sites, but there are a lot of damages. We are trying to restore everything we can. But every day there are fewer repair teams in the region. When you see how hard a colleague who connects the light or welds the water supply is wounded, then no matter how brave you are, it is more and more difficult to go under the fire. The shelling by the Russian army is becoming more intense. There is almost no "silence regime", and when there is, regular communal workers go to the facilities", Gaidai writes.
According to the head of the Regional State Administration, yesterday 95,795 consumers were left without electricity. And as of today - 146,490.
36 settlements are de-energized. Of these, 22 completely, 14 partially.
In addition, as a result of hostilities, 38 settlements are without gas supply - 31 completely and 7 partially.
This is 130183 consumers.
There is also no water supply in Rubizhne, Popasna, Girske, Severodonetsk and partially in Lysychansk.
