Invaders fired from "Grad" at a nuclear facility in Kharkiv

"Today, the Russian aggressor fired from Grad multiple launch missile systems at the territory of the National Scientific Center "Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology (NSC KIPT)", the report says.

Now the Institute hosts the "Source of Neutrons" experimental nuclear facility, with 37 nuclear fuel elements loaded into its core. The destruction of the installation and storage of nuclear materials could lead to a large-scale environmental disaster.

SSU investigators, under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office, opened criminal proceedings under the ecocide article.
