Invaders damaged the newly repaired power supply line at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - Energoatom

According to Energoatom, emergency teams are forced to go to the danger zone again and repair the damage.

"At 19:07 on March 13, the line was energized and the power supply to the infrastructure of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and the city of Slavutych was resumed. However, these works could not be completed, because the invaders soon damaged the line again", Ukrenergo said.

Reliable power supply to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is critical in terms of nuclear safety.

As noted in the department, even after a successful repair and the next restoration of power supply at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, new cases of damage to power lines due to enemy shelling and fires are not ruled out.

The personnel of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which has not had a rotation since the beginning of the military aggression, is psychologically and physically exhausted, and cannot carry out quality maintenance of the plant.

The only guarantee of the safety of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the station.
