International organizations' support for Ukrainians tops UAH 10 billion - Rozenko
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war, international organizations have provided Ukrainians with more than UAH 10 billion in monetary aid.
Pavlo Rozenko, vice president of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, told Espreso about this.
"A week ago, we started paying out forced migrants and vulnerable sections of the population, and the first funds have already arrived in their accounts. This is a joint program of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Ukrainian Red Cross and the government. If we take it as a whole, only monetary aid from international organizations to Ukrainians already for this more than 10 billion hryvnias have been paid out," he said.
Rozenko explained that this is donor money and various programs that help Ukrainians with funds.
"10 billion hryvnias are only cash funds, not including humanitarian aid. You can sign up to receive this aid through the Yedopomoga resource. On the other hand, people, be careful, there are fraudulent schemes around these programs - scammers call and demand personal data of citizens," he concluded.
