Infrastructure in Luhansk region is almost destroyed, in some cases it cannot be restored - Gaidai

"We had a difficult night. The invader managed to advance a little in Rubizhne. They launched in front of them recently mobilized people who were caught on the eve of the war. They are men of civilian professions. They die by the hundreds. Each attack ends in numerous casualties.  It seems that they are under the influence of some drugs. Or they are followed by barricades and they know that they will be shot", Gaidai said.

Gaidai added that all settlements in the Luhansk region controlled by Ukraine come under fire from all types of weapons.  According to him, the most damaged are civilian houses.

"There are no targeted strikes claimed by Russia. They are doing everything they can. They are shelling civilians and infrastructure. They are trying to wipe Severodonetsk off the face of the earth. The region's infrastructure has been critically destroyed and in some cases is no longer restorable", he said.
