The figures come from a survey published by Sociological Group Rating.

According to the survey, the number of people who are continuing to work as usual has increased (from 23 to 32%). 24% work part-time or remotely, and 3% have started working in a new job. Most of the people who are now in work live in Ukraine’s western and central regions (about 60%). The proportion falls in the south, at 52%, and is lowest in the east – at about 40%.

A gradual recovery of employment figures is observed in the country’s center, south and east. In the west, however, the situation has been stable since early April. Among those who have lost their jobs, 54% believe they will be able to return to their previous jobs, and 40% do not believe they will be able to go back to where they worked. Two thirds of respondents who became unemployed due to the war are ready to change jobs. 58% of respondents indicated they don’t mind retraining in another profession, and 49% are ready to work in another region of the country.
