Russian troops intensify artillery shelling in Tavria sector
Russian forces are intensifying their infantry attacks and have escalated artillery activity in the Tavria direction. During this uptick in activity they have suffered significant losses
Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria group of forces, confirmed these developments.
He stated that the Russian troops are reinforcing their efforts by deploying armored vehicles and aviation to support their infantry.
During the last day, the Russians launched one missile, conducted 13 air strikes, engaged in 55 combat encounters, and unleashed 1,044 artillery barrages in the Tavria operational zone.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are effectively holding their ground and actively engaging in operations within designated areas.
The total losses incurred by the occupiers yesterday saw a substantial increase compared to the previous day, with 576 casualties and 57 pieces of equipment lost. Notably, 5 tanks, 7 self-propelled guns, 8 artillery systems, and 10 vehicles were destroyed.
- According to the General Staff, in the past 24 hours, there were 89 combat clashes on the front between Russian troops and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The Armed Forces successfully repelled multiple enemy attacks across 6 directions, eliminating another 1,250 invaders.
