In Ukraine, heavy fighting continues in 4 frontline areas - General Staff

Occupying Russian troops are attacking in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, and heavy fighting continues.

Thus, 25 combat engagements took place over the last day.

Hospital in Russia's Rostov region is overcrowded with wounded soldiers

Over the past week, Russian troops have suffered significant losses in the Bakhmut sector.

Thus, more than 50 soldiers with severe injuries arrive daily at a military hospital near Persianovka, Rostov region.

“The hospital is overcrowded and, due to the lack of sufficient medical staff, has high mortality rates among the seriously wounded,” the report says.

Russia launched 1 missile attack and 36 airstrikes against Ukraine overnight

On June 11, the Russian troops launched 1 missile strike, 36 airstrikes, and over 38 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact: 4 settlements in the Sumy region, as well as 12 more in the Kharkiv region, were attacked.

In the Kupiansk direction, 8 settlements in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions came under artillery shelling. 

In the Lyman direction, 8 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian fire. 

In the Bakhmut direction, 9 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian troops. 

In the Avdiivka direction, 6 settlements of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire. 

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all of the occupying Russian troops' assaults, however, 6 settlements of the Donetsk region came under shelling. 

In the Shakhtarsk direction, 6 localities in the Donetsk region came under fire. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, 15 cities and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched 6 strikes on the Russian troops' military positions. 

Meanwhile, missile and artillery units hit 2 control points, 2 artillery units at firing positions, and an enemy radar station.

• On June 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the villages of Blahodatne, Neskuchne, and Makarivka, near the border of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
