In Pskov region in Russia, explosion damages two helicopters
On the night of October 30, in the Pskov region of the Russian Federation, on the territory of the military airfield Veretye near the Russian-Latvian border, an unknown explosion damaged two Ka-52 helicopters.
This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Baza.
According to the resource, several explosions were heard at 10 pm. The explosions were so powerful that fragments of the fuselage were scattered 200 meters around.
It is noted that the aircraft were being repaired at the airfield. The cause of the explosions is unknown.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine notes that in addition to the two destroyed helicopters, two more were significantly damaged. The military unit is conducting investigative actions to find "sabotage groups".
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Ka-52 "Alligator" is a Russian-made reconnaissance and attack helicopter. The cost is about $16 million.
On October 30, a shell landed in the village of Nikolskoye in the Belgorod district of the Russian Federation, damaging power lines.
