He conveyed this information during an interview on Espreso.
He stated that increased military presence on the streets of Mariupol has been a typical situation since the beginning of the Russian occupation.
"There's currently another rotation of invading forces happening. They aim to reinforce local military draft efforts. Fortunately, this has led to logistical issues for the Russians in that area," remarked Zabavin.
The route from Rostov, passing through Novoazovsk and Mariupol, is utilized by the invaders through various means, according to the deputy.
"Residents of Mariupol mentioned queues for civilian transport supposedly used for food delivery. Only low-quality vodka and cigarettes were allowed without queues," he added.
- During the night of Saturday, November 18, over 20 tractors with tanks and other tracked heavy equipment of the Russian Federation were observed in the temporarily occupied Mariupol in the Donetsk region. These were dispatched by the invaders towards Berdyansk in the Zaporizhzhia region.
- As of October 19, Mayor Andryushchenko reported that the Russians had depleted their manpower reserves, resulting in a slowdown in the movement of both manpower and equipment.
