This was announced by Parliament Commissioner of Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

According to her, during more than a month of blockade of Mariupol, Russians didn’t allow any humanitarian convoy with food and medicine from Ukraine or international organizations.

"At the same time, humanitarian aid of Russian Federation, widely advertised in  media, includes only a loaf of bread and a bottle of water a day. Food is distributed at “United Russia” headquarters, but there is a catastrophic shortage of food," Denisova said.

She stressed that  situation with medical care is getting worse every day - unsanitary conditions are spreading, and staying in damp cold basements causes infectious and cold diseases. It is impossible to get medical help in the city.

From Monday, in a city will be prohibited from moving and even staying on the street without special permits. Hundreds of citizens are forced to stand in line to receive them, otherwise it will be impossible to get even a meager ration of bread.

"Russians are destroying Mariupol by all possible ways, turning the city into hell. Such actions of  Russian Federation are genocide of Ukrainian people in accordance with the Convention on Prevention and Punishment of Crime of Genocide and Article 6 of Rome Statute of  International Criminal Court. During military invasion of Russian Federation into Ukraine to take into account these facts of  Russian Federation committing a crime of genocide and human rights violations in Ukraine, "Denisova wrote.
