In Kryvyi Rih, a shell from the Russian Tornado took the lives of a father and son. They brought them home
After Russian missiles hit the city of Kryvyi Rih in the morning, two local residents took a cluster munition from a missile of the Russian Tornado multiple launch missile system. Both of them died
The head of the city Oleksandr Vilkul told about this, Espreso.TV reports.
"A father and son died today in the Kryviy Rih region - they exploded on ammunition that was scattered by orc cluster missiles", the mayor of Kryviy Rih noted.
"They found them and brought them home. Civilians", Vilkul added.
According to him, for several days now he has been calling on local TV channels, radio stations, on the air of central TV channels, in social networks that "you can’t approach silver cylinders 5 cm long and about 2 cm in diameter".
"We publish their photos everywhere. Look at them... Please hear - this is your safety!", Oleksandr Vilkul called on the residents.
Recall that on the night of April 1-2, 2022, for the first time since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, Russians fired missiles at civilian targets in the territory of Kryvyi Rih.
"In addition to the gas station at the entrance to Ingulets, there were hits in residential buildings of the private sector on Ingulets. And also in the perimeter of one educational institution.
They were launched not from Grads (after the liberation of a dozen villages of the Kherson region by our soldiers, their Grads no longer reach the city), but from Tornados, which have a much longer range. They were cluster munitions banned by the Geneva Convention, which cover a large area at once", Vilkul explained.
