In the Russian occupied part of Ukraine's Kharkiv district, Russian forces are threatening to take children away from their families if they do not start school from September

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office in a Telegram.
"On August 29, 2022, in the course of evacuation measures, it was established that the "authorities" of the occupied territories of the Kharkiv region are forcing local residents to bring their children to educational institutions," the statement reads.
Russian occupiers warned families that they would take their children away if they did not start school in September.
The Kupyan district prosecutor's office started a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In the future, the materials will be transferred to the Office of the Ukrainian in the Kharkiv region.
