In Belarus, tensions rise between Russian and Belarusian forces

The report says that the military police of Belarus cannot restrain the illegal behaviour of Russian forces. The Main Directorate of Intelligence reports derogatory statements and conduct on the part of the Russian occupiers, particularly with humiliation based on ethnic characteristics.

"The memos submitted by senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus based on complaints from their ordinary servicemen indicate disparaging statements and behaviour of Russian forces towards the Belarusian ones. The number of precedents is overgrowing, which leads to an uncontrolled escalation of tension in Belarus," the intelligence service writes.
