In August, about 35,000 people were evacuated from dangerous parts of Ukraine, one third are children

The Ministry of Reintegration of Ukraine informs about this in Telegram.

A large number of people left the Donetsk region, where mandatory evacuation was announced.  Ukrainians are also leaving the temporarily occupied regions of Kherson region, Luhansk region, Kharkiv region and Zaporizhzhia region.

Since the beginning of August, about 35 thousand civilians have been evacuated to the safe territory of Ukraine, almost 10 thousand of them are children.

"Saving children from danger is the duty of the state and every adult. That is why I never get tired of calling: do not expose children to risk, leave. Be responsible parents, guardians, educators! You and your children are waited for in many safe regions!"  - addressed Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
