They will discuss the establishment of a security zone around the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
- On December 2, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi expressed his hope that the situation around the ZNPP will be resolved by the end of the year.
- On December 6, Rosatom announced that it would not transfer control over the Zaporizhzhia NPP to the IAEA, as the organization allegedly does not have the mandate to manage nuclear plants.
