In Istanbul, the construction of the hull for the new flagship of Ukraine - the corvette "Hetman Ivan Mazepa" was completed at the RMK Marine shipyard.

According to the Turkish publication, the ship is now in dry dock. The name "Hetman Ivan Mazepa" and the number F 211 have already been put on its board.

The corvette will become the new flagship of the Ukrainian fleet after the Hetman Sahaidachny was sunk due to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Note that the Ada-class "Hetman Ivan Mazepa" corvette will be adapted to all available types of anti-ship missiles. It is planned that it will be accepted into the Navy of Ukraine in 2024.
