It seems that there was no failure of the blitzkrieg, no Western economic sanctions, no solidarity of the civilized world with Ukraine, no disgraceful escape from Russia of those citizens who do not support Putin's aggression or simply do not want to serve in the Russian army. Almost the same points: Ukraine is "invented," the West is aimed at destroying Russia, anyone who disagrees with the Kremlin madman and his admirers is a "national traitor," life will be even better.

If Putin had said all this last year, no one would have been surprised. But he postponed his message to the Federal Assembly simply because he expected to deliver a "victory speech." About the occupation of Ukraine, the overthrow of the "Nazi regime," the Russian annexation of half of Ukraine's lands... He was going to come to the lawmakers not from Novo-Ogaryovo, but directly from Khreshchatyk.

None of this happened. History has shamed a small, insignificant man who believed that he was a king and a god. And it will shame him more than once. So Putin just had to read an old pre-war text to his people and hope that no one would notice that he continues to live in the past, that he is a dictator in a casing.

But everyone noticed, Vladimir Vladimirovich. Hitler is naked.
