Historic night in Ukraine: Russia has used all of its available tricks – military expert Zgurets

He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"Tonight was a historic night, because the enemy tried to use all the tricks and opportunities to force through Ukrainian air defense. It has never happened before that 6 or more Kinzhals were launched in one air attack. We are talking about 18 missiles, 6 of which are Kinzhals,” explained Zgurets.

According to the military expert, last night was the first time Russia launched Kinzhal missiles during a large-scale attack.

"There were 3 more missiles launched from S-400 or from Iskander-M, which can also carry a Kinzhal. The enemy used all available capabilities in a short attack. The Kinzhal missile is considered the most difficult target. The Patriot system was extremely effective," emphasized Zgurets.

• On May 16, Russia launched an "exceptional density" attack on Kyiv, using drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.
