Help in creating Recovery Fund: Zelenskyy discusses potential areas of cooperation with head of world's largest investment company
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and CEO of the world's largest investment company BlackRock Larry Fink discussed opportunities for cooperation regarding the Recovery Fund to support the Ukrainian economy.
This is reported by the official online representation of the President.
During the video conference, it was discussed how BlackRock's financial market consulting department can help the Ukrainian Recovery Fund. The main goal of the Fund is to create opportunities for participation in the reconstruction and revitalization of the Ukrainian economy for both state and private investors, which will ensure a fair profit for them.
BlackRock can provide free advice on the structure, investment process, management and use of the Fund's income as assistance.
"We demonstrated that we know how to win on the battlefield. Another important task of ours is to win in the economy. To be an attractive country for investors," Zelenskyy said.
He also noted that investment attractiveness is extremely important for Ukraine today. The state is interested in attracting global capital, as this will create jobs and grow the economy. The President stressed that such a structure should be successful for all involved parties.
"We are able and want to restore a normal investment climate," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
