Heavy Russian shelling of Mykolaiv at night damages houses, civilian infrastructure facilities, gas pipeline

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, reports.

He noted that Russians shelled Mykolaiv with nine S-300 missiles. They tried to hit the oil depot and the administration building. The territory of the sea trading port is also damaged. Currently, rescuers try to eliminate the consequences of missile strikes.

Previously, Vitalyi Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, wrote about the attacks on Mykolaiv.

Around 00:15 a.m., Mykolaiv was hit by S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. High-rise buildings, gas pipelines, water supply, cinema and theater courtyards, and administrative buildings were damaged.  Also, around 01:21 a.m., a fire broke out in a warehouse as a result of missile strikes.  There are no victims. Information about damage is being clarified.

On the morning of September 22, Oleksandr Senkevych, the mayor of the city, reported in Telegram about the night shelling of Mykolaiv.

Various areas of the city were affected.  Senkevych promised to provide more detailed information later.

"We are examining the places of shelling. I will write to you more about the consequences later," he wrote.

Also, on September 21, Mykolaiv and Bashtan districts of the region were under Russian strikes.

In the Mykolaiv district, the Shevchenkiv community training ground was under missile strikes. There are no casualties.

Around 12:00 p.m., Russians shelled the villages of Dmytrivka and Parutina of the Kutsurub community. Hits were recorded outside settlements and in open areas. The area of ​​the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve "Olvia" was attacked three times. There are no casualties.

At 12:23 p.m., there was a shelling of the town of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community, as a result of which a fire broke out on a tugboat. There are no casualties.

From 1:57 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., there were shellings in the Pervomaisk settlement of the Pervomaisk community. There were hits mainly in open areas, a residential building was destroyed.  There are no casualties.

On the morning of September 22, around 05:55 a.m. there was a fire in the village of Kalynivka of the Voskresen community as a result of missile strikes. There are no casualties.

In the Bashtan district, villages on the contact line of the Berezneguvat community remain under Russian attacks. On September 21, from 16:35 p.m. to 16:55 p.m. near the outskirts of the village of Lepetikha and Kavkaz, as well as at 20:15 p.m. in the village of Berezneguvate, there were shellings. There are no casualties. Information about damages information is being clarified.

On September 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on September 22 at 02:00 a.m., the outskirts of the village of Novooleksandrivka of the Ingul community were shelled. There were no injuries or damages.

On September 22, at 01:00 a.m., 03:00 a.m., 05:00 a.m., Russians shelled Shyroke and the village Chervona Dolyna of Shyrokivska community, outside the population centers.  There are no casualties.
