"A huge concentration of enemy personnel and equipment is observed in the Lyman direction. Heavy localized fighting continues along the entire frontline from Svatove to Kreminna. The enemy is trying to break through and launching assault operations near the settlements of Masiutivka and Novoselivske. However, they are not successful and have retreated with significant losses of personnel," said Andriyko.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter noted that the front line in the Lyman direction remains unchanged.
"The enemy is shelling the entire frontline with mortars, heavy artillery and MLRS. They are also actively using attack aircraft to strike the frontline. Thus, we can conclude that the enemy has no shortage of ammunition. However, I want to emphasize that the front line is rather static. All this is due to the heroism of our military," he added.
On May 26, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russian troops were attacking in Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. They lead an offensive near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
