Haidai expects Ukrainian forces to advance in Luhansk region with onset of frost

Serhiy Haidai, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, made the statement on Telegram.

"Now we are waiting for sub-zero temperatures, at least for a couple of days, so that the ground becomes firmer and can withstand equipment. I think that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to give us good news regarding the Luhansk region," he said.

Haidai reported that the Ukrainian military is gradually advancing in the Svatove-Kreminna direction.

"Regarding the Svatove-Kreminna direction, the initiative is on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Step by step, the Ukrainian troops are advancing. However, the weather is slowing the advance down. On the other hand, the weather is also preventing Russian troops from launching an offensive by equipment," the head said.
